π MTC FYUGP Admission Advisory Tool
Overview
The FYUGP Admission Advisory Tool is designed to help students make informed academic choices under the FYUGP framework of Mahatma Gandhi University. It provides a guided, step-by-step interface where students can select their Plus Two subjects, explore suitable Major and Minor combinations, and identify related courses aligned with university regulations.
As per the FYUGP structure for Semester I or II, students must complete a total of 21 credits, distributed as follows:
- Major Course (DSC A) β 4 credits
- Two Minor Courses (DSC B & DSC C) β 4 credits each
- Ability Enhancement Courses (AEC 1 & AEC 2) β 3 credits each
- Multidisciplinary Course (MDC) β 3 credits
This advisory tool maps your selections to this structure, ensuring that all choices follow academic
guidelines such as subject eligibility, departmental rules, and course compatibility. It also highlights
recommended options and prevents invalid combinations, helping you plan a balanced and compliant
academic pathway.
It also helps you to make a prior choice of the MDC in the Semester II, as well.
This tool is developed by Dr. Noble P. Abraham, Dept. of Physics.
