DESCRIPTION:The Academic Cell of Mar Thoma College\, Tiruvalla is organising an invited talk titled “The Science of AI\, and a Walkthrough of Recent Tools for Learning and Research” on 16 December 2025 at 2.00 pm in the Seminar Hall. The programme aims to enhance students’ understanding of the fundamental concepts of Artificial Intelligence and to familiarise them with contemporary AI-based tools that support academic learning and research activities. \n\n\n\nThe session will be led by Dr. Ebie Mavelil Sam\, who completed his PhD in Physics from the Max Planck Institute\, Germany. He is currently the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Plumfin\, an aquatech startup that he co-founded.Through this interactive talk\, participants will gain valuable insights into emerging AI technologies\, innovative learning tools\, and their applications in research\, fostering critical thinking and technological awareness among students.
