DESCRIPTION:The Postgraduate and Research Department of English\, Mar Thoma College\, Tiruvalla\, is organising a National Seminar titled\, “Ecocritical Readings: Exploring the Human-Nature Dialectics” on 24th October 2025 at 9:30 AM in the College Seminar Hall. \n\n\n\nThis academic event is coordinated by the Postgraduate Forum in association with Mahatma Gandhi University\, Kerala\, and IQAC. This endeavour is a reflection of the commitment of the department to interdisciplinary research and critical inquiry. \n\n\n\nThe seminar will feature a keynote address by Dr. Suja Kurup P L\, Associate Professor at the Institute of English\, University of Kerala\, and Director\, Centre for Australian Studies\, University of Kerala. The resource person will deliver a lecture on the topic ‘Ecocritical Perspectives on Human-Nature Interactions in Australia\,’ engaging participants in contemporary debates within ecocriticism.
