The Department has been conducting this event continously since 1998\, when the Department got recognized as a Research Centre of Mahatma Gandhi University\, Kottayam. \n\n\n\nThe previous lectures were delivered by eminent scholars in Economics both from within India and abroad. \n\n\n\nThe 29th Annual Lecture will be delivered by Dr. Deepak Johnson K\, Assistant Professor\, Department of Economics\, CHRIST (Deemed to be University)\, Bengaluru.
