The Annual Lecture\, the prestigious academic event of the Department is in its 28th year. The Department has been conducting this event continuously since 1998\, when the Department got recognized as a Research Centre of Mahatma Gandhi University\, Kottayam. \n  \nThe previous lectures were delivered by eminent scholars in Economics both from within India and abroad. \n  \nThe 28th Annual Lecture will be delivered by Dr Ashok Thomas\, Assistant Professor\, Indian Institute of Management\, Kozhikode.
