DESCRIPTION:The NSS Units of the college in association with the K. Chittilappilly Foundation proudly announces the formal Handing Over the Keys ceremony of the Snehaveedu project. A flagship project of MG University\, this event will take place on 19th February 2026\, at 2:30 PM in the College Auditorium.The ceremony will be graced by the Honourable Finance Minister\, Adv. K. N. Balagopal\, who will officially present the keys. The two houses built under this project stands as a living testament to the sweat\, dedication\, and empathy of our student volunteers.In a double celebration of humanitarian service\, the event will also feature the inauguration of the “Ente Kunjadu” project by Adv. Mathew T. Thomas\, MLA. This innovative project distributes high-quality goat kids to underprivileged students of the college. By promoting small-scale animal husbandry\, the initiative fosters long-term self-sufficiency and financial independence. DESCRIPTION:This World Environment Day\, the NSS Units are proud to announce the launch of the Bird Forest project\, “The Green Cradle: Sowing Tomorrow’s Bird Forest”. This project is a prestigious initiative of the NSS Units\, Mahatma Gandhi University\, and the Jayaraj Foundation. This project is designed to transform a portion of our campus grounds into a thriving\, multi-layered micro-habitat for local avian species. Unlike standard landscaping\, a Bird Forest mimics a natural woodland ecosystem. By utilizing dense\, native\, and multi-layered vegetation\, The Green Cradle will provide the essential food\, shelter\, and nesting spaces our feathered neighbours need to thrive.
