National White Cane Day\, also known as White Cane Safety Day\, is observed annually on October 15th to honor the achievements\, independence\, and dignity of people who are blind or visually impaired. The day also seeks to raise public awareness about the white cane as an essential tool for mobility and a symbol of independence and self-reliance.
