Guided by the central theme\, “Inspired by Nature. For Climate. For Our Future\,” the association will commence the programs with an inaugural event on June 5\, 2026\, featuring a session\, titled “Preserving the Present\,” by Ms. Shanthi Krishna\, a Research Scholar from the Department of Botany. This session will commence at 12:50pm in the English Portico. \n\n\n\nThe association is also organizing a one-day trip\, “Monsoon Trails: Into the Emerald Embrace of Gavi Ecotourism” \, offering participants an opportunity to explore the rich biodiversity and scenic beauty of Gavi. The observance will also conclude with a special movie screening accompanied by an interactive discussion.

This project is a prestigious initiative of the NSS Units\, Mahatma Gandhi University\, and the Jayaraj Foundation. This project is designed to transform a portion of our campus grounds into a thriving\, multi-layered micro-habitat for local avian species. Unlike standard landscaping\, a Bird Forest mimics a natural woodland ecosystem. By utilizing dense\, native\, and multi-layered vegetation\, The Green Cradle will provide the essential food\, shelter\, and nesting spaces our feathered neighbours need to thrive.
