Ecocritical Readings: Exploring the Human-Nature Dialectics

The Postgraduate and Research Department of English, Mar Thoma College, Tiruvalla, is organising a National Seminar titled, “Ecocritical Readings: Exploring the Human-Nature Dialectics” on 24th October 2025 at 9:30 AM in the College Seminar Hall.
This academic event is coordinated by the Postgraduate Forum in association with Mahatma Gandhi University, Kerala, and IQAC. This endeavour is a reflection of the commitment of the department to interdisciplinary research and critical inquiry.
The seminar will feature a keynote address by Dr. Suja Kurup P L, Associate Professor at the Institute of English, University of Kerala, and Director, Centre for Australian Studies, University of Kerala. The resource person will deliver a lecture on the topic ‘Ecocritical Perspectives on Human-Nature Interactions in Australia,’ engaging participants in contemporary debates within ecocriticism.
