The Green Cradle

This World Environment Day, the NSS Units are proud to announce the launch of the Bird Forest project, “The Green Cradle: Sowing Tomorrow’s Bird Forest”. This project is a prestigious initiative of the NSS Units, Mahatma Gandhi University, and the Jayaraj Foundation. This project is designed to transform a portion of our campus grounds into a thriving, multi-layered micro-habitat for local avian species. Unlike standard landscaping, a Bird Forest mimics a natural woodland ecosystem. By utilizing dense, native, and multi-layered vegetation, The Green Cradle will provide the essential food, shelter, and nesting spaces our feathered neighbours need to thrive.
