The Department of Mathematics organised a one day seminar on Application of Mathematics in Research on 5th July 2019. Dr. K I Koshy former Dean of Agricultural University delivered the lecture on “Mathematics- the Queen and Servant of Science”. 

The Zoology Association Inauguration program was held on 9 th July 2019. Dr. Icy K John, Principal, MarThoma College, presided over the function. Dr. Roshni Christo, Post-Doctoral Fellow, Baylor Collegeof Medicine, Huston, USA was the chief guest and delivered a talk on ‘Trends in Brain Research’.

A one week Teacher Empowerment Workshop (TEW) for Mathematics faculty and researchers was organised in the College from 8th to 13th April 2019. A two day national seminar on Cinema and intervention has been organised on 21st and 22nd February 2019.Dr. Valsan Thampu, St. Stephens College, Delhi inaugurated the seminar. He also delivered Dr. A V Varghese memorial Lecture on the occasion. 

23rd Annual Lecture scheduled to be held on 26th February, 2019. Dr. S. Nehru, Professor, Gandhigram Rural Institute Madurai, will deliver the lecture on WTO and Indian Agriculture – Vital Issues.

Organized a One Day Seminar on Free Pricing and Markets in India on 4th October, 2018. Dr. Gabriel Simon Thattil, HOD of Commerce, University of Kerala delivered the lecture.
