Hiroshima and Nagasaki Day

The Department of Chemistry will solemnly observe Hiroshima and Nagasaki Day on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, in remembrance of the devastating atomic bombings during World War II and to reaffirm our collective commitment to peace and nuclear disarmament. As part of this observance, a Poster Competition will be held at 10:00 AM in Classroom D20, based on the theme: “Nuclear-Free World: Our Shared Promise.”
The competition is open to all students. The observance will continue with a Film Show at 1:30 PM in the Seminar Hall. All students and faculty are cordially invited to participate in this event.
