സ്കൂളിലേക്ക് ഒരു ശാസ്ത്രവണ്ടി (A Science Bus to School)

The Department of Chemistry organized the first visit of the 2025 outreach program titled “സ്കൂളിലേക്ക് ഒരു ശാസ്ത്രവണ്ടി” (A Science Bus to School) on 23rd October 2025. The programme was flagged off by Principal Dr. Mathew Varkey T. K.

Four teachers and six students from the second-year PG Chemistry and Analytical Chemistry programmes participated in the activity. The team visited Seventh-Day Adventist Higher Secondary School, M.T.S.S. U.P. School, Manjadi, and Prince Marthanda Varma HSS, Peringara, where they conducted simple chemistry experiment demonstrations and interactive sessions under faculty supervision.

The initiative effectively encouraged students to explore science through practical experience and generated enthusiastic participation. The program received positive feedback from teachers and students, and the Department plans to continue similar outreach visits as part of its annual extension activities.
