The College has always given great importance to sports and games and its infrastructural facilities are made available to the local public and other institutions. Facilities for all the major games and athletics are provided for both men and women. The students of the College are divided into different houses, which compete in healthy rivalry in Inter-House Tournaments in all major games. Traditionally the College has been a centre of excellence, especially for football. The men and women teams in football are university champions for the last several years. For more than 40 years the College has been organizing Mar Thoma Trophy All Kerala Inter-Collegiate Football Tournament for men teams. It has become a prestigious Trophy for which the best teams of the Colleges from all the Universities in Kerala compete. The Department of Physical Education also helps other Sports Associations in organizing various tournaments.

The College has a Sports Hostel for Women where free boarding and lodging are provided for sportspersons with the assistance of the Kerala Sports Council. The Council also makes available the services of a State Coach to the students. Sportswomen are given free accommodation and food in the women hostel with management funding.

• Annual Inter-House Tournaments.
• Mar Thoma Trophy All Kerala Inter-Collegiate Football Tournament.
• Running the Sports Hostel sanctioned by the Kerala Sports Council.
• Imparting Advanced Coaching and Training to the various Teams of the College.
• Long term training programme for children between 12-15 years in Soccer and Cricket
• Extending the facilities and expertise of the Dept. to local Schools and other Associations for the promotion of Sports and Games.
