The department offers B. A. programme in Political Science. The complementary course in Political Science for B. A. Economics programme is also offered by the department.

Political Science Association

The department of Political Science conducted a seminar on ‘Budget Analysis – 2019’ on 8th July, 2019. The Key-note speaker was Prof. Nijin K Mathew, HOD of Commerce, Mar Thoma College, Tiruvalla.

The activities of the Political Science Association were formally inaugurated by Dr R Samala, Head of the Department of Political Science, NSS Hindu College, Changanacherry, on 25th July, 2019. There was also a talk on ‘Scope of the Study of Political Science in the Contemporary world’.

The department level Quiz Competition on ‘Mahatma Gandhi and Freedom Movement in India’ was conducted by the association on 2nd October, 2019 as part of the celebrations held on the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.
