28th Annual Lecture – Economics

The 28th Annual Lecture of the Department was held at 10 am on Wednesday, 12th March 2025 at the College Seminar Hall. Principal Dr. Mathew Varkey T K presided over the meeting. HoD, Anoop Koshy George delivered the welcome address. Dr. Icy K John, Former Principal of the College moderated the session. Dr. Ashok Thomas, Assistant Professor at Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode delivered the lecture on the topic ‘Harnessing New Technologies for Creative Disruption. The lecture was followed by a discussion which was initiated by Former HoD, Prof. C V Varghese.
Student achievers of the Department were honoured during the programme. Aravind Sankar N, the faculty co-ordinator of the programme, proposed the vote of thanks.
