Ardam – Pain & Palliative Care Initiative

Ardam – Pain & Palliative Care Initiative was organised by the National Service Scheme (NSS) Units 25(A), 25(B), and 510 of Mar Thoma College, Tiruvalla, on 24 July 2026 at Alpha Palliative Care, Tiruvalla. The programme aimed to sensitise student volunteers to the importance of palliative care, compassion, and holistic support for individuals living with serious illnesses. Through meaningful interactions and service activities, participants gained valuable insights into the significance of empathy, dignity, and community involvement in improving the quality of life of patients and their families, reinforcing the spirit of selfless service and social responsibilit

Thampy Kurian Endowment Fund- Excellence Award

Mr. Thampy Kurien a former student of Mar Thoma College, Tiruvalla and a resident of 43 Delaney Street, Stow, Massachusetts 01775 USA endowed a corpus amount Rs. 15,000,00 as gratitude to his alma mater. Endowment has been made with the sole aim of promoting meaningful academic pursuit among students thereby enhancing name and fame of Mar Thoma College, Tiruvalla among other premier institutions in the country and abroad. Endowment is meant for one student in second or third year of four year UG (Honours) programme or second year of UG degree programme and one student in the second year of any PG programme. The total number of awardees in a year shall be limited to two.
