Awareness on Blood Cancer & Blood Stem Cell Transplantation and Registration Drive

The National Service Scheme (NSS), Mar Thoma College, Tiruvalla (Units 25A, 25B & 510) is organizing an Awareness on Blood Cancer & Blood Stem Cell Transplantation and Registration Drive on 13 July 2026 at 10:30 a.m. in the Media Center. The session will be led by Ms. Indira Roy, DKMS Foundation, India, who will provide valuable insights into blood cancer, the role of blood stem cell transplantation, and the importance of registering as a potential blood stem cell donor.

Thampy Kurian Endowment Fund- Excellence Award

Mr. Thampy Kurien a former student of Mar Thoma College, Tiruvalla and a resident of 43 Delaney Street, Stow, Massachusetts 01775 USA endowed a corpus amount Rs. 15,000,00 as gratitude to his alma mater. Endowment has been made with the sole aim of promoting meaningful academic pursuit among students thereby enhancing name and fame of Mar Thoma College, Tiruvalla among other premier institutions in the country and abroad. Endowment is meant for one student in second or third year of four year UG (Honours) programme or second year of UG degree programme and one student in the second year of any PG programme. The total number of awardees in a year shall be limited to two.
