Cancer Awareness Class

The medical Club of Mar Thoma College, Tiruvalla organised a cancer awareness class on 16-09-2025 at 2.30 pm. in the Seminar Hall. Dr. Mathew Varkey T K., Principal, Mar Thoma College, Tiruvalla presided the meeting. The meeting started with a prayer song. Dr. Sunitha A Philip, convener of the medical club welcomed the gathering. Dr. Minu Luckose, Assistant Professor of Dept. of Clinical Haematology, Believers Church Medical college Hospital, Tiruvalla conducted a class on ’Cancer Awareness”. In the session, Resource person Dr. Minu Luckose suggested to try to keep our diet balanced i.e. your diet should contain all essential nutrients required by your body, such as vitamins, minerals, carbohydrates, etc. Physical exercise is vital to good health. Students actively participated in the discussion. After the class Ms. Aneesha Saji, student secretary of medical club proposed the vote of thanks and the meeting came to an end by 3.45 pm.
