Canvas of the Forgotten

The English Literary Association performed a dramatic enactment of the play “This Time Tomorrow” by the Kenyan author Ngugi wa Thiong’o in honour of World Peace Day. The play reflected the lives of oppressed people in Kenya, as depicted in Ngugi’s play “This Time Tomorrow”. The script adaptation and direction were Shaino Elsa Renji (III BA English) and Sean Ann Kuruvilla (III BA English). The actors of the play imparted life to the characters they portrayed and left the audience in awe. The cast included – Liya Elizabeth Libin (III BA English), Aparna A (II BA English), Alex Prasad (II BA English), Safin Thomas Cherian (III BA English), Philips Kurien (I BA English), Rohan Abraham Moncey (III BA English), Easwaran Nampoothiri (I BA English), Karthik Anilkumar (III BA English), Ephraim Saju(I BA English), Aida Sara John (I BA English), Shinto Saji (I BA English) and Adheena A L (I BA English).
