Christmas Carol Rounds and Carol Service

Spreading the good news and heralding the reason for the season to the community, the members of the Mar Thoma Students Association, Mar Thoma College announced the remembrance of the Messiah’s birth through their door to door caroling programme. MTSA Christmas Carol rounds held on 17 December, 2025, 5 pm onwards was well attended. A group of 60 students, along with teachers, and non-teaching staff went to the houses in the neighbourhood and sang carol songs to the accompaniment of drums and tambourine. Contributions were accepted with an intention of donating the amount for the wellbeing of the differently abled children of the MCRD Navjyoti School, Thelliyoor.

The Christmas Carol service of the Mar Thoma Students’ Association was held in the MCRD Navjyoti School, Thelliyoor, on 20 December, 2025 with an intention to share the joy of Christmas with the differently abled children. The choir sang carols and the MTSA members taught the children a few songs. The children showcased a few performances. The time spent together lifted the spirits of the inmates and spread joy. The proceeds of the door to door caroling were handed over to the Director of the School. The Director of the institution, Rev. Sunil Mathew delivered a Christmas message. A group of 10 students along with the Director, Dr. Teena T Elizabeth and Mr. Sam C Thomas representing the MTSA of Mar Thoma College spent time with the students and staff of MCRD making the Christmas celebration a meaningful and
memorable one.
