College Day

The College Day 2026 celebrations at Mar Thoma College, Tiruvalla, commenced with a prayer song and the rendition of the College Anthem by the College Choir. Following the opening ceremony, Dr. Teena T. Elizabeth, the Convenor, extended a formal welcome to the assembled guests and dignitaries. The Principal, Dr. Mathew Varkey T. K., presented the Annual Report, providing an overview of the institution’s academic and extracurricular progress. The presidential address was delivered by the Manager of the college, Rt. Rev. Dr. Euyakim Mar Coorilos Suffragan Metropolitan. The College Day Address was delivered by the guest of honour, Dr. Ginu Zachariah Oommen, Chairperson of the Kerala State Food Commission. The retiring staff -Mr. Shibu Jacob, Mr. Saji Thomas, and Mr. Alexander Chacko—were presented with mementoes in recognition of their long years of dedicated service.
