Commerce Association Inauguration

The Commerce Association Inauguration was held on 04 August 2025 commencing at 9:30am in the college seminar hall. The event began with a prayer song, invoking blessings for the further proceedings.
Mr. Davis S Olickal, Association secretary delivered the welcome address, extending warm greetings to the dignitaries, faculty members, guest and the students.
This was followed by Presidential Address by Asst. Prof. Anju Mariam John, Association President who emphasized the importance of student involvement and their overall development throughout association activities.
Dr. Mathew Varkey T K, principal, encouraged students to use the opportunities around them and develop employability skills.
Head of the Department Asst. Prof. Nijin K Mathew, in his remarks acknowledged the importance of nurturing student potential through various association activities.

This was followed by the lighting of the lamp which formally inaugrated by this year’s association. The highlight of the event was the inaugural Adress by Mr. Sunil Thomas Cherian a distinguished alumnus and young business man. He inspired the audience with his journey,insights and motivating words, emphasizing the importance of hard work, self-belief and innovation.

Following the inaugural Address the Merit Award ceremony was conducted to appreciate the Rank Holders and A+ holders. The event was well-anchored by Ms Rintu Maria John and Mr. Chris Tom Mathew. The program was concluded at 12:30 pm with the vote of thanks by Ms. Biniya Sabu Association joint-secretary.
Following the official Inauguration the Department hosted Freshers Day celebration from 1:30 pm to 3:30pm to warmly Welcome the new batch of students
