Counseling Centre

Mar Thoma College, Tiruvalla, is dedicated to the holistic development of its students, recognizing the importance of mental and emotional well-being alongside academic achievement. To support this, the college offers a Counseling Centre that provides a confidential and professional environment for students to discuss personal challenges and concerns.

The Counseling Centre is staffed by experienced professionals who assist students in navigating various aspects of college life, including academic pressures, personal issues, and social relationships. The services include both group counseling sessions on topics of general interest and individual sessions tailored to specific needs. This approach ensures that students receive comprehensive support to enhance their mental health and overall well-being.

In addition to counseling services, the centre actively participates in orientation programs for new students.

The Counseling Centre at Mar Thoma College is committed to fostering a supportive and understanding campus atmosphere, ensuring that students have access to the necessary resources to thrive both personally and academically.

The Counseling Centre at Mar Thoma College, Tiruvalla, operates in association with the Jeevani Centre for Wellbeing, an initiative by the Department of Collegiate Education, Government of Kerala, aimed at supporting student mental health. This collaboration ensures continuous counseling services throughout the week. The college counselor is available on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, while the Jeevani counselor is present on Tuesdays and Thursdays. With this arrangement, students have access to professional counseling five days a week, providing comprehensive support and guidance whenever they need it.
