Cyber Crimes Awareness Programme

The NSS Units of Mar Thoma College, Tiruvalla organized a Cyber Crimes Awareness Programme on 29th September 2025 at 2:00 PM in the College Media Centre. The programme was inaugurated by the College Principal, Dr. Mathew Varkey T. K., who also delivered the presidential address.

The welcome speech was delivered by Ms. Meera Suresh, NSS Volunteer. The session was led by Adv. Sandhya Satheesh, who spoke on the topic “Cyber Crimes in India” and highlighted the growing challenges of cyber threats and the importance of legal awareness in society.

Mr. Rajasekharan, Member of the Tiruvalla Legal Service Committee, and Dr. P. J. Varghese, NSS Programme Officer, conveyed their felicitations. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Anitha George Varghese, NSS Programme Officer.

The event witnessed the active participation of NSS secretaries and first-year NSS volunteers, making it a successful awareness initiative
