Disaster Management Awareness Class

The NSS Units and Electoral Literacy Club of the college jointly organized a Disaster Management Awareness Class on School Safety Programme (SSP). The event was held at the college auditorium under the chairmanship of Principal Dr. Mathew Varkey T.K.
The program was inaugurated by Mr. Jobin K. George, Tehsildar, Thiruvalla Taluk . A team from the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), 4th Bn, Arakkonam, conducted a comprehensive awareness class. The session covered critical emergency procedures, including how to perform CPR, handle emergencies during building collapses, manage floods, and provide first aid for foreign body obstruction.
The event formally began with a welcome address by Dr. Sony Achamma Thomas, the ELC Coordinator. NSS Programme Officers Dr. P.J. Vargheese and Dr. Anitha George Varghese offered their felicitations. The program concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by NSS Volunteer Secretary, B. Alakananda, who expressed gratitude to all attendees and participants.
