District Level Anti Drug Awareness Flashmob competition

The National Service Scheme (NSS) Units Nos. 25(A), 25(B), and 510 of Mar Thoma College, Tiruvalla, in association with Shredha/Nerkkoottam and the Excise Vimukthi Mission, organized a District Level Anti-Drug Awareness Flashmob Competition for College Students on October 6, 2025.

The programme was held at the Open Air Auditorium of Mar Thoma College at 1:00 PM. The event was inaugurated by Mrs. Anu George, Chairperson of Tiruvalla Municipality.

The event aimed to spread awareness among youth about the harmful effects of drug abuse and to promote a drug-free society through creative and impactful flashmob performances.

The programme was conducted under the leadership of Dr. Mathew Varkey T.K. (Principal) and NSS Programme Officers Dr. P.J. Varghese, Dr. Anitha George Varghese, and Dr. Sreelatha P.V., along with active participation from NSS volunteers.

The competition witnessed enthusiastic participation from various colleges across the district, making it a successful and memorable awareness initiative.
