Ethnobotanical Gardens

The first project of installation of ethnobotanical gardens in various schools of Tiruvalla undertaken by the Rotary club in association with the PG and research department of Botany was initiated in the Mar Thoma Central School Tiruvalla. Faculty and student representatives from the department attended the programme held in Mar Thoma Central School. A batch of elite medicinal plants were also handed over to the school authorities as an initial support from the department. Head of the department Mr. Renosh Tom Varghese K felicitated the gathering. And offered all support as knowledge partner in the establishment of medicinal and ethnobotanical gardens.
