Expressions- Inter Collegiate Competitions

The Inter-Collegiate Fest, Expression 25, was organized by the Mar Thoma Students’ Association (MTSA) at Mar Thoma College, Thiruvalla, on December 3, 2025. The event saw active participation from over 50 students representing five different colleges. The inaugural ceremony commenced at 9:45 AM, presided over by the Director Dr. Teena T. Elizabeth. The Secretary Mr. Alen Varghese formally welcomed the gathering. The fest was officially inaugurated by the College Principal, Dr. Mathew Varkey T. K. Following the inauguration, the Event Convener, Mr. Rohan Abraham Moncey, briefed the participants about the rules and regulations, marking the beginning of the competitions.
Solo Singing Competitions, Quiz Competition, and Carol Group Song Competition were heldMrs. Nikitha Sara Biji and MsKarunaElsy Thomas served as the judges. Mr Mathew K Chacko was the quiz master.
The valedictory session began around 3:00 PM, presided over by the Director Mr. Jijo John Varughese. Treasurer Mr. Aaron John Abraham delivered the vote of thanks. Following this, the College Principal, Dr. Mathew Varkey T. K., distributed prizes to all the winners. Union Christian College (UC College), Aluva was crowned the Overall Champions of Expression 25, while St. Thomas College, Kozhencherrysecured the Overall Runners-Up trophy.
