First Year Induction Programme
The NSS units of Mar Thoma College, Tiruvalla organized an Induction Programme for the newly admitted first-year undergraduate students on 16th July 2025 at the College Auditorium. The session aimed to introduce the students to the vision, mission, and activities of the National Service Scheme (NSS).
The session was led by Dr. Anitha George Varghese, NSS Programme Officer, who delivered an insightful talk on the objectives and functioning of NSS, emphasizing the role and responsibilities of NSS volunteers in community development and nation-building. She presented a comprehensive overview of the various activities, camps, and outreach initiatives undertaken by the NSS units in the previous years, highlighting the impact and relevance of social service in student life.
