Freshman Orientation – FYUGP

Mar Thoma College, Thiruvalla organized a freshman orientation to mark the beginning of the four-year undergraduate honours programme in the new academic year. The programme was organized at the college level in connection with the state-level inauguration of the four-year undergraduate programmes, Vijnjanotsavam 2025.

A live telecast of the inauguration of the programme by the Minister for Higher Education, Dr. R. Bindu, held at the Government Arts and Science College, Kozhikode, was telecasted. The College Principal Dr. Mathew Varkey TK presided over the function. Mar Thoma Church Senior Vicar General Rev. Dr. Easow Mathew delivered the keynote address. Nodal Officer Prof. Manesh Jacob gave an overview of the four-year undergraduate curriculum. College Treasurer Mr. Thomas Koshy offered words of felicitation. Dr. K. M. Vishnu Namboothiri and Dr. Kesia Mary Philip addressed the gathering.
