Guru Sparsh- Teacher’s Day Celebration

On 5th September 2024, the NSS unit of Mar Thoma College, Tiruvalla, organized a special celebration to mark Teacher’s Day. The day began with a visit to the home of Dr. A.P. John, the former Principal and first NSS Programme Officer of the college, to honor his contributions and convey heartfelt wishes.During the celebration, the NSS unit also honoured the college Principal, Dr. Mathew Varkey T.K. He was deeply appreciative of the gesture, acknowledging the significance of the day.
As part of the day’s activities, NSS volunteers created handmade cards to convey their gratitude to all teachers at Mar Thoma College, personally delivering them to faculty members. The event was a meaningful expression of respect and appreciation for the teachers’ hard work and dedication.
The event was organised by NSS Programme Officers Dr. P.J. Varghese, Ms. Anitha George Varghese, and Dr. Sreelatha P.V., along with NSS volunteer secretaries and volunteers, all of whom participated in the celebration.
