Horticulture Workshop
The horticulture workshop organised by Department of Botany in association with Horticulture Development Society, Tiruvalla, focused on skill development in gardening techniques such as terrarium making, kokedama making, and plant propagation methods. A visit to the established plant nursery at Homegrown Biotech, Kanjirappally, provided practical exposure. Around 90 participants benefitted from the event. Chief resource persons were Prof. (Dr.) Neeta N. Nair (Mar Thoma College, Tiruvalla) and Dr. Lekshmi Suresh (Asst. Prof. on Contract, SVRNSS, Vazhoor).
