First Ever Imaging of a Black Hole : Alumni Achievement

Dr. Dhanya G. Nair (B. Sc. Physics 2008-11) is part of the Event Horizon Telescope observations of the center of the galaxy M87 that made the first-ever image of a supermassive black hole.

Dr. Dhanya had completed her Ph. D. at the Max Planck institute for Radio Astronomy, Germany. She is currently working in Netherlands.
