Inauguration of Medical Club 2025-26

The inauguration of activities of Medical Club 2025-26 was held on 28-07-2025 at 2.00 pm. in the Mini conference Hall. Dr. Mathew Varkey T K., Principal, Mar Thoma College, Tiruvalla presided the meeting. The meeting started with a prayer song. Dr. Sunitha A Philip, convener of the medical club welcomed the gathering. The meeting was inaugurated by Dr. Harikumar B, Medical Superintendent, KNM NSS Ayurveda Hospital, Vallamkulam, Tiruvalla. Doctor conducted a class on ‘Ayurveda Care for Monsoon Season’. In the session, Resource person suggested an Ayurvedic care include individualized lifestyle plans based on your unique constitution (prakriti), dietary adjustments, herbal remedies, detoxification practices like Panchkarma, and stress management techniques. It focuses on promoting health rather than just treating illness and seeks to restore balance between mind, body, and spirit. Physical exercise is vital to good health. Students actively participated in the discussion. After the class Ms. Sneha Anna Biju, student secretary of medical club proposed the vote of thanks and the meeting came to an end by 3.45 pm.
