Inauguration of Physics Association

The activities of the Physics Association 2018-19 was inaugurated by Prof. Philip N. Thomas (Former Faculty, Department of Physics, Mar Thoma College, Tiruvalla) on 14th September 2018. The Meeting commenced with a prayer song by Ms. Jayalekshmi J.  Secretary of the Association Mr. Sony M. Cherian welcomed the gathering. Principal of the college, Dr. Icy K. John, Head of the Department, Dr. Samuel Mathew and President of the Association, Dr. Noble P. Abraham addressed the meeting. Ms. Sheryl Mariam Reji rendered a beautiful solo.

Prof. Philip N. Thomas delivered a talk entitled ” ശാസ്ത്രവിചാരം സങ്കർഷവേളയിൽ” on the recent unprecedented flood in Kerala.

Mr. Ajay P. Oommen, Joint Secretary of the Association offered vote of thanks. The inaugural session was followed by various cultural performances of the members of the association.
