Inside your Body: Introduction to Magic of MRI and Medical Imaging

A talk was organised by Department of Physics on “Inside your Body: Introduction to Magic of MRI and Medical Imaging” by Prof Mathews Jacob, Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Virginia on 13 Dec 2024 at 8:00 to 9:00 pm (IST) via online mode (Zoom platform). Dr Arun Vinod, coordinator of the programme, welcomed the gathering. Dr. Angel Susan Cherian, Head of the department, delivered the presidential remarks. In the talk Prof Mathews Jacob discussed fundamentals of MRI Imaging, Image reconstruction and current trends in ultrahigh resolution brain MRI. The talk was followed by discussions. Dr. Anju K Nair proposed the vote of thanks. Around 60 participants participated including faculty members and students from various other colleges.
