International Seminar

The Department of Hindi and the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Mar Thoma College, Tiruvalla, in association with Sahchar Hindi Sangthan, New Delhi, successfully organized a two-day International Webinar on 14th & 15th November 2025 on the theme: “Gandhi’s Literature and Gandhi in Literature.”

The webinar focused on an in-depth exploration of Mahatma Gandhi’s contributions to literature, as well as his representation, influence, and interpretation across diverse literary traditions.

A total of 83 participants, including faculty members, research scholars, and students, actively attended the sessions. The webinar provided valuable academic insights and encouraged meaningful discussions on Gandhian thought and its literary relevance.

The programme significantly enriched the understanding of Gandhi’s enduring impact on literature and society.
