Journey to Honours – I UG Opening Assembly 2026

Mar Thoma College, Tiruvalla is set to host its First-Year Undergraduate (I UG) Opening Assembly for the academic year 2026-27 on 1 July 2026, at 9:45 a.m. in the College Auditorium. The chief guest of the programme will be Rev. Rency Thomas George, Director, Mar Thoma Church Animation Centre. The opening assembly aims to extend a warm welcome to the first year degree students.
The state-level inauguration of the FYUG programmes will be held on 1 July 2026, at 10:30 a.m. at the Government College for Women, Thiruvananthapuram, and the event will be live-streamed on YouTube.
All first-year students, parents, and faculty members are cordially invited to attend the programme. Regular classes for all programmes will commence on 2 July 2026.

Thampy Kurian Endowment Fund- Excellence Award

Mr. Thampy Kurien a former student of Mar Thoma College, Tiruvalla and a resident of 43 Delaney Street, Stow, Massachusetts 01775 USA endowed a corpus amount Rs. 15,000,00 as gratitude to his alma mater. Endowment has been made with the sole aim of promoting meaningful academic pursuit among students thereby enhancing name and fame of Mar Thoma College, Tiruvalla among other premier institutions in the country and abroad. Endowment is meant for one student in second or third year of four year UG (Honours) programme or second year of UG degree programme and one student in the second year of any PG programme. The total number of awardees in a year shall be limited to two.
