Let’s Speak English

The Department of English successfully conducted the inauguration of the Academic Enrichment Programme titled “Let’s Speak English” on 27th January 2025 at 1:30 PM in the Media Centre. The programme commenced with a warm and inspiring welcome speech by Dr. Susan Thomas, Head of the Department of English. She highlighted the importance of communication skills in personal and professional development and the significance of the initiative. Dr. Annie Susan Mathew emphasized the pivotal role of language proficiency in today’s competitive world and encouraged students to actively participate in such initiatives in her inaugural address.
Dr. Neema Susan Mathews, the faculty co-ordinator thanked the guest speaker and the attendees. She expressed the hope that the students would benefit immensely from the programme and utilize the learning opportunities effectively.
The programme concluded with a talent show by the students.
