Linkedln Career Kick-starter programme

Placement cell, Mar Thoma College, Tiruvalla in association with FacePrep has organized a Linkedln Career Kick starter programme on 12th and 13th June, 2025 for all UG students in the college. Two resource persons from Faceprep helped students to create Linkedln profile. They gave 1 month premium account to students and explained the benefits of premium LinkedIn account. On 12th, 65 students from science batch attended the session and on 13th, 75 students from social science batch attended the session. The session was very insightful to help the students to step into their career pathways.

Thampy Kurian Endowment Fund- Excellence Award

Mr. Thampy Kurien a former student of Mar Thoma College, Tiruvalla and a resident of 43 Delaney Street, Stow, Massachusetts 01775 USA endowed a corpus amount Rs. 15,000,00 as gratitude to his alma mater. Endowment has been made with the sole aim of promoting meaningful academic pursuit among students thereby enhancing name and fame of Mar Thoma College, Tiruvalla among other premier institutions in the country and abroad. Endowment is meant for one student in second or third year of four year UG (Honours) programme or second year of UG degree programme and one student in the second year of any PG programme. The total number of awardees in a year shall be limited to two.
