NOSTOS Annual Alumni Meet 2025

Department of English, hosted its annual alumni meet, NOSTOS, on February 8, 2025. The event commenced with a prayer song by the Department Choir, followed by a welcome speech by Dr. Susan Thomas and a presidential address by Prof. N M Mathew. The department’s newsletter was released by Dr. G Koshy and the meet also witnessed the formation of the Alumni Executive Committee, a proposal for Diamond Jubilee projects by Dr. Teena T Elizabeth, and the honoring of achievers by Dr. Shiela Elizabeth Abraham and Ms. Sheeba K Jacob. The cultural programme featured a poetry enactment, medley, and other performances, and alumni shared nostalgic memories of their time at the college. A special tribute was paid to the resilience and courage of those affected by the Kerala floods in 2018. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Mr. Jijo John Varughese, marking a successful reunion that reinforced the strong bonds between the department, its alumni, and the college community.
