Notre Odyssée: Our Journey, Side by Side

The Postgraduate and Research Department of English at Mar Thoma College, Tiruvalla, hosted the valedictory gathering of the English Literary Association (ELA) on 24th February 2026 at the College Seminar Hall at 9.30 am. Titled “Notre Odyssée: Our Journey, Side by Side,” the event serves as a formal conclusion to the association’s activities for the 2025–2026 academic year, celebrating the collective intellectual and creative milestones of its students and faculty. The Chief guest was Dr Neethu Mary Tomy, Associate Professor and Research Supervisor at the Department of English, St. Aloysious College, Edathua, Allapuzha.

Thampy Kurian Endowment Fund- Excellence Award

Mr. Thampy Kurien a former student of Mar Thoma College, Tiruvalla and a resident of 43 Delaney Street, Stow, Massachusetts 01775 USA endowed a corpus amount Rs. 15,000,00 as gratitude to his alma mater. Endowment has been made with the sole aim of promoting meaningful academic pursuit among students thereby enhancing name and fame of Mar Thoma College, Tiruvalla among other premier institutions in the country and abroad. Endowment is meant for one student in second or third year of four year UG (Honours) programme or second year of UG degree programme and one student in the second year of any PG programme. The total number of awardees in a year shall be limited to two.
