Opening Assembly and Student Orientation Programme

The opening assembly and student orientation programme for the academic year 2025-26 were held on June 2, 2025, in the college auditorium. The programme commenced with a prayer and the college anthem, led by the college choir. Rev MS Daniel, Governing Council member and Vicar of Amalloor Sehion Mar Thoma Church, delivered the opening prayer and blessing speech. Dr PJ Varghese, Staff Advisor, extended a warm welcome to the gathering. Principal Dr Mathew Varkey TK delivered the presidential address, highlighting the importance of the new academic year. The keynote address was given by Mr. George Cherian, a distinguished alumnus and social activist, explaining the challenges and opportunities in the Kerala higher education sector. Students, Anna and Rohan rendered a beautiful rendition of the ‘Praveshanolsavam song 2025’. Circle Inspector Sri K Rajendran from the Tiruvalla Excise Office delivered an impactful anti-drug awareness speech, and a pledge-taking ceremony was held. Dr. Sonia Anna Zachariah, IQAC Coordinator, proposed the vote of thanks. The meeting concluded at 12:00 pm
