Orientation Programme- Physics

The Department of Physics conducted an orientation programme for the newly admitted students on 28th June 2025. The event commenced with a warm welcome address by Dr Noble P Abraham.

Dr Angel Susan Cherian, Head of the Department, presided over the function and shared her thoughts with the audience. Dr Mathew Varkey T.K., Principal of the institution, addressed the gathering and offered his words of encouragement and support to the new entrants.

The orientation session was led by Prof Thomas T George, former faculty member of the department and Member of the Governing Council, Christian College, Chengannur who provided insightful guidance and motivation to the students. This was followed by a counselling session led by Ms Janet Mariam Thomas from the Counselling Centre and Jeevani Centre for Well-being, Higher Education Department, Government of Kerala.

The programme concluded with a formal vote of thanks delivered by Dr Anju K Nair. Overall, the orientation programme was a highly enriching experience, offering valuable direction and inspiration to the student community.
