Physics Association Inauguration

The Physics Association inauguration was held on 11 August 2025 at the Dr. Alexander Mar Thoma Memorial Golden Jubilee Seminar Hall. The program commenced at 10:30 am, with Dr. Angel Susan Cherian, Head of the Physics Department, presiding over the ceremony.
The program began with a prayer song by Ms. Ananya J Prasad of 2nd DC Physics, followed by a welcome speech by Association President Dr. Arun Vinod. After receiving valuable messages from Principal Dr. Mathew Varkey T K, the chief guest, Dr. Sreelatha K S, Associate Professor of Government College Kottayam, officially inaugurated the Physics Association for the 2025-26 academic year. Dr. Sreelatha K S shared her insightful thoughts, and the ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks by Ms. Devika Krishnan, Association Secretary. Following the inauguration, Dr. Sreelatha K S delivered a special talk on “Physics and Future: Technology, Society, and Beyond.” In the afternoon, a welcome party was held for the freshers, marking a warm introduction to the Physics Association.
