Physics Association Valedictory

The programme commenced with a prayer led by Ms Aiswarya G, a third-year B.Sc. Physics student. The welcome address was delivered by Ms Rabiya Ashraf, II PG Representative, who warmly greeted the dignitaries, faculty members, and students, and highlighted the significance of the occasion.
The Presidential Address was delivered by Dr. Angel Susan Cherian, who reflected on the association’s activities. The Principal, Dr. Mathew Varkey T K, offered his remarks, commending the efforts of the association in promoting scientific engagement and academic excellence.
This was followed by the prize distribution ceremony, where winners of various competitions conducted during the year were recognized and honoured. The Presentation of the Annual Report and Accounts was carried out by Ms. Devika Krishnan, who provided a comprehensive overview of the activities and financial summary of the association. The report and accounts were passed by the general body.
The election of the office bearers for the academic year 2026–2027 was also conducted during the function. Dr. Anju K Nair was elected as the Association President, and Abner Sam Jose was elected as the Association Secretary.
The function concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Arun Vinod, who expressed sincere gratitude to all dignitaries, faculty members, non teaching staffs, student coordinators, and participants for their support and cooperation in making the association’s activities a success.
