Round Table with Alumnus

The Department of Chemistry, Mar Thoma College, Tiruvalla, organized “Round Table with Alumnus – Talk 6” on September 18, 2025, at 09:00 AM in the College Auditorium. The distinguished resource person for the session was Dr. K. N. Ninan, retired Deputy Director, VSSC, Emeritus Professor, IIST, and one of the proud alumni of the Department.

The event commenced with an opening prayer, setting a reflective tone for the session. Dr. Ajesh K. Zachariah, Head of the Department, delivered the welcome address and highlighted the significance of the day’s topic. Following this, Dr. Neema Ani Mangalam introduced the resource person, providing a brief overview of his illustrious career and contributions to Indian space research.

Dr. K. N. Ninan then delivered a comprehensive and insightful presentation, shedding light on the critical considerations and advancements in Indian space research. His talk offered students an opportunity to understand the evolving developments in this field and the challenges faced in space exploration and technology.

The session was highly interactive, with students actively participating, sharing their feedback, and posing thoughtful questions that enriched the discussion.

The programme concluded with a Vote of Thanks delivered by Dr. Nebu John, who expressed gratitude to the speaker, dignitaries, participants, and organizers for making the event a valuable learning experience.
