Science Outreach Programme

The Department of Physics, Mar Thoma College, Tiruvalla, conducted a Science Outreach Programme on 3rd December 2025 at S.C.Seminary Higher Secondary School, Tiruvalla. The sessions introduced school students to the excitement of Physics through hands-on demonstrations in Optics, Magnetism, Sound, and Waves & Oscillations. Dr. I John Berlin demonstrated various electronic devices. Around 100 students of class XI and XII participated enthusiastically, making the programme an engaging and meaningful learning experience.
Dr. Angel Susan Cherian, HoD lead a team of faculty and MSc and BSc Physics students, who guided the school students through various demonstrations.
