Science Outreach Programme – “PhysiXplore”

PhysiXplore 2025 was organised as part of the Science Outreach Programme of the Department of Physics, Mar Thoma College, Tiruvalla.
The session aimed to spark scientific curiosity among school students by introducing diverse career opportunities in Physics and emphasizing the growing significance of Medical Physics and Material Physics in today’s world.

The programme featured engaging demonstrations, including:
Astronomical telescopes
Optical instruments
LED light behaviour
AC–DC current conversion
Basic working principles of music players

Around 100 students and teachers participated enthusiastically, making the event a vibrant platform for learning and exploration.
